Easternwell celebrates birthdays in the field

Easternwell supports employees’ health and wellbeing while they are working away from home by celebrating their birthdays with cakes cooked by their camp Chefs.

While field-based employees work away from home for at least two weeks at a time, they don’t miss out on celebrating special occasions with their workmates.

Easternwell General Manager Camp Management Marco Waanders said: “Thanks to our talented Chefs, employees enjoy celebrating their birthdays while in the field, making working away from home a little bit easier.”

“Our Chefs enjoy the challenge of creating something special for their crews. It is a simple gesture that is greatly appreciated by our crews.”

Celebrating birthdays in the field provides an enjoyable break from the regular routine and provides an additional morale boost for our crews.

Previous birthday cakes have included cowboys, wildlife and superhero themed cakes.
