Easternwell wins contract with Senex Energy

Broadspectrum’s subsidiary, Easternwell, has signed an agreement with Senex Energy to provide gas exploration drilling services in the Cooper Basin.

Commencing in Q1 2017, Easternwell will provide deviated gas drilling services on a well in the Patchawarra Trough. The well will be drilled to a depth of around 3,600 metres, with an additional horizontal section of up to 1,500 metres, dependent on results.

Easternwell’s Executive General Manager, Tim Phelan, said "Easternwell's Rig 106 is an incredibly powerful drilling rig, one of the most powerful in the Australian market, which together with our experienced and well trained crew enables it to drill the deepest and most complex wells. As a result of this we are well placed to support Senex Energy in their exploration activities."

“We welcome the opportunity to continue to work collaboratively with Senex to demonstrate the capability of our drilling technology.”
