Easternwell subcontractor's community kindness

Easternwell subcontractor Optimum Transport Services donated first aid kits to help treat injured wildlife affected by recent bush fires.

Optimum Transport Services provides transport and trucking services for Easternwell’s rig operations in the Surat Basin.

Optimum Transport Services employee, Tom Inch said first aid kits are replaced every two years to ensure the quality of the medical items.

“I am a Rural Fire Brigade volunteer and I heard through Brooklands Rural Fire Brigade that Wildlife Rescue South Burnett needed materials to treat injured wildlife affected by the recent bushfires.”

“Instead of disposing of the first aid items I thought it would be a good idea to put them to good use.”
