Easternwell supports Indigenous careers expos

Easternwell supported the Deadly Trackers Career Expo at Wilsonton and Centenary Heights High schools in Toowoomba by talking with students about career opportunities within the company.

The expo was organised by the Indigenous Education Network to help guide Indigenous youth on career opportunities available in their local regions.

Easternwell General Manager and Broadspectrum’s Queensland Regional Indigenous Steering Committee Chairman, Marco Waanders said: “The event helps guide students on their employment options with companies that value inclusion and diversity in their workplaces.”

“It’s exciting to speak to the next generation of employees and leaders and share information on the investment we have made in meeting targets set in our Reconciliation Action Plan, and the range of careers available across Australia in our company.”

Employees from Easternwell, Broadspectrum and Skout Solutions attended the event to share the company’s involvement in local projects including drilling and well servicing operations, camp management services and the ongoing operations and maintenance of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing.

The company’s recruitment team will also attend the next Regional Career Expo in Chinchilla.

Easternwell is a subsidiary of Broadspectrum, providing innovation solutions across the social, defence, property, infrastructure, resources and industrial sectors.
