Easternwell Group - History
Over 30 years ago, Peter Campbell started Eastern Well Supply with just one seismic rig. The fleet expanded and over 13 years Eastern Well provided exceptional service to its contractors in the oil and gas industry. Troy Campbell joined the family company bringing his extensive hands on experience and accomplished education and vast knowledge. New strategies set aims for the company to become specialists in "well servicing". Eastern Well Service (EWS) was formed and became the largest on-shore oil and gas well servicing operation in Australia with over 180 trained personnel and one of the largest most extensive rig fleets in the country.
The dedication of Eastern Well to the advancement of Well Servicing, has shown significant contributions in areas of technology, training, safety standards and manufacture.
2004, EWS became associated with Canadian Company, Snubco International forming a joint venture - Eastern Pressure Control. The collaboration resulted in Australia receiving its first Rig Assist Snubbing Unit (RASU)
2005 - 2006, EWS illustrated their commitment to their staff by creating a cost effective hospitality service ( Eastern Catering Service) that promotes health and a quality way of life for workers in remote areas. A training and development department was introduced to combat skill shortages. Aviation acquisitions provided for speed and safety. Government Awards for excellence in manufacturing, technology and designs bought recognition. Challenges in waste management and environmental responsibility succeeded with new technology.
2007. Eastern Well has expanded to become a multi-faceted company offering quality essential services to the oil and gas sector and the energy industries of Australia. It is now widely recognised and respected for it versatilities and has incorporated its operations under the name of Easternwell Group.
